After years of wondering what I was doing wrong when it came to choosing my mate and even my friendships I finally figured out the answer:
I fall in love with people’s souls instead of their characters.
I’ve always had a very high spiritual intelligence. Outside of the Christian world people would say I pick up people’s aura or their vibes. However, most people just pick up the surface and what’s being projected at any given moment. I can pick up a person’s core.
I can see their heart under all the hurt and the pain and struggle. I can look past what’s outwardly projected and see their true core.
I’m attracted to people’s purposes.
I can see greatness in people who don’t even know they have it in them.
I can see what was placed in their soul from birth and what’s going to come to pass in their lives.
I fall in love with their souls, with their true hearts, with who they really are.
The problem is, most people aren’t connected to their soul man and therefore don’t know who they really are.
Most people are lost, stumbling around looking for a cause to fight for not realizing it’s within them. Most people don’t understand that every battle isn’t theirs and every cause isn’t their cause and also scars are not a part of your spirit they’re a part of your mind.
Scars are not a part of your spirit; they’re a part of your mind.
People allow their scars to become them. As spirit beings this is inaccurate. Your spirit is you wholly. The rest (mind and body) are just filters. When you are scarred it is a mental scarring or a body scarring, never is it on your soul.
I used to say I was a sapiosexual – in love with people’s minds. Now, I realize I’ve been falling in love with people’s purposes and their true essences.
Sadly, most people haven’t found their true selves and therefore can’t even see what I see or rather feel what I feel. I can feel a person’s soul and souls are beautiful things (usually). That person is stuck in their minds eye and hasn’t even reached themself yet. Even sadder yet, some people never will reach that point of threefold connection — the mind, the body, and the soul.
Luckily, I’ve found my problem and I can mitigate it from now on. I will still love people’s souls and still love their purposes, however, I have to take a good look at who they believe they are now not who they are in their core.
14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
